Shannon Downing was promoted to chief strategy officer for Tenet Health Central Coast, part of Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare.

Ms. Downing served in the role on an interim basis for the past year, according to a March 9 news release shared with Becker’s. Before that, she spent seven years as marketing manager for Tenet Health Central Coast. She has been with the company for 15 years.

Tenet Health Central Coast comprises Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo, Calif., and Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton, Calif., along with several affiliated entities, including primary and specialty care, outpatient imaging and laboratories.
